Care Guide

To keep your beloved women's clothing in excellent condition, here are some essential care tips.

For general garments made of cotton or polyester, machine wash them on a gentle cycle with cold water. This helps prevent color fading and fabric shrinkage. Avoid using harsh detergents; mild ones are preferable to safeguard the fabric's texture. When drying, tumble dry on low heat or, better yet, air dry them to maintain their original shape.

Delicate pieces like silk blouses or lace dresses demand more careful handling. Hand wash these items in lukewarm water with a specialized gentle detergent for delicate fabrics. Gently swirl the clothing in the water, never wring or twist it forcefully to avoid damaging the fibers. Let them drip dry naturally, preferably on a padded hanger to retain their shape.

Woolen sweaters should be washed sparingly. When necessary, use a wool-safe detergent and wash by hand in cold water. After rinsing, gently press out excess water with a towel, reshape the sweater, and lay it flat to dry. Store woolens folded with cedar balls or moth repellents during off-seasons to keep moths at bay.

Leather jackets and skirts need regular conditioning to stay supple. Wipe them with a damp cloth to remove surface dirt, then apply a leather conditioner following the product instructions. Keep leather items away from direct sunlight and heat sources to prevent cracking or drying out.

Proper storage is also key. Hang dresses and tops on sturdy, padded hangers to avoid shoulder bumps. Fold knitwear neatly and store them in drawers or on shelves. Keep your closet clean, dry, and well-ventilated to protect clothing from mold and mildew growth. By following these simple steps, your women's clothing will look as good as new for longer, accompanying you through many stylish moments.
